A Glad and Sad Last Visit

The Faringhy FamilyLate 2002 Peggy invited us to join a family outing up at the "ranch." The "ranch" is a piece of property that Uncle Arch bought many years ago and a place that has been the focus of many a family weekend outing in the intervening years. It's a place that holds many memories. So, we have both gladness and sadness. Gladness because of all of those many menories and because on this last visit we had the opportunity to meet a new member of our family. Sadness because this was indeed our last visit to the "ranch."

Gladly, Peggy has been able to finalize Lou's selling of the ranch and is now living close to us here in Rancho Bernardo where she can more easily access things that are important in her life. Most importantly, she can be closer with her family and friends.

In the picture above, taken on that "last" sad, fateful, historic visit ( oh sob, sob) are Mark, Dru, Lou Anne, Anastasia, mother Lelia, Bill, son Adam (on the bike), wife Dawn, son A.J. and Peggy. It was one last, great time to wander among many memories. (Sometimes, only after you have plied me with sufficient amounts of appropriate oblations, ask me about the supersonic flyover of the adjacent turkey ranch! I will deny all. I know nothing!)
