Argentina! - Page 7Before we left the Neuquen/Cipolletti area there were some things we wanted to do. One of those things was to visit the places our southern relatives worked. So, we made the rounds, touring where Dr. Sergio, Gloria and Angel all work. At Angel's company, RTS Rectificaciones, we met Tio Rapp, a long-time family friend and business partner. We also had the good fortune to spend an evening with Luli's family celebrating Luli's birthday. We do hope that some day soon we all can officially call them "our family" also! Sadly, all good things must come to an end and it was time to begin the trip home. We spent the last day mostly packing and saying our goodbyes. Then it was off to the Nuequen airport for the evening flight to Buenos Aires to connect with our flight home the following evening. Buenos AiresWe didn't get out and sample the night life our one night there, but we did have a half day to get out and see the city a little bit. First, we had breakfast with Mariana's friend, Annalia. Afterwards, we had a few hours to wander through a downtown shopping area with hundreds of shops. Then, we went for a stroll along the water front and went aboard a sailing ship museum. Buenos Aires is obviously a very large city with all of the cosmopolitan attractions one could want. |

It was a fantastic trip with many, many memories. The sights we visited were spectacular, but best of all, it was a family time that we will always cherish. Angel, Gloria, Sergio, Luli and all of their friends made it an unforgetable experience. It could not have been better. We look forward to having the family come here to San Diego for a visit. |
